In September 2024, the UEEX held 65 auctions for the purchase and sale of basic, individual load and block positions of electricity. Of these, 43 auctions were held in specialized sections and 22 in the commercial section.
In September, 260 starting positions were created for the purchase and sale of various types of load. In September, the total volume of electricity purchased and sold on the bilateral contracts market amounted to 5.03 million MWh.
As of the end of August, 593 bidders were accredited at the UEEX in the Electricity sector. The main participants are: Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo, CHPs and TPPs, Guaranteed Buyer, universal service providers, Ukrenergo, traders, and large consumers.
As of September 30, the monthly base load index for October amounted to UAH 5,144.7/MWh, while the index for September was 5,022.9/MWh.
“The results of the auctions show a certain increase in activity compared to the previous month. We continue to develop and improve our services on the electricity market,” said O. Kovalenko, CEO of UEEX.
