In order to conclude exchange agreements in the natural gas exchange trade (on VTP basis) on the short-term market using the trading platform of the LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" it is necessary:
- To be familiar with Regulations on exchange place lease on the LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" and the Regulation of exchange trading on the short-term natural gas market using the trading platform of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange.
- To be accredited by the direction "Exchange trading – natural gas" (middle and long-term market) in case of its absence. In order to do so, go to the link "Electronic trades. On-line accreditation" and to fill in the application form in electronic form for obtaining the status of a non-permanent member of LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange", on choosing “Natural gas”.
- To provide the GTS Operator with a Letter on granting a consent for the transfer of rights and obligations under the Natural Gas Transportation Agreement. After receiving the answer, download a scanned copy of the letter of consent to your private account in the accreditation system.
- To provide the Ukrainian Energy Exchange with the original Application - joining the Exchange Trading Regulations on the short-term natural gas market using the trading platform of the commodity exchange - Limited Liability Company "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" to the address: 01030, Ukraine, Kyiv, Bohdana Khmelnytskoho 17/52 st. (BC “Leonardo”), 4-th floor.
- To conclude with LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" the contracts of authorization for the Exchange to submit trading notices to the information platform of the GTS Operator on behalf of the trading participant and to represent the interests of the trading participant in the settlement bank on the issues of making settlements on the exchange agreements.
- Open a conditional storage account (escrow) in JSC Oschadbank (join the CBSA).
- To take a training course on work on the trading platform of LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange".
- Obtain a login and password for access to the trading platform of Ukrainian Energy Exchange LLC. It is mandatory to change the received standard passwords to your own.
- Acquire the status of a clearing participant by concluding a clearing service agreement with the Clearing Institution (Limited Liability Company "UKRAINIAN CLEARING HOUSE", identification code 45539058).
- Participate in exchange trading on the trading platform of LLC “Ukrainian Energy Exchange” and conclude natural gas purchase and sale contracts signed by the participants with a qualified electronic signature.
Participants who, as of June 23, 2023, had the status of bidders in the "Short-term natural gas market" section are considered to have the status of bidders in accordance with Regulation of exchange trading on the short-term market of natural gas using the trading platform of the commodity exchange - Limited Liability Company "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" subject to the fulfillment of the requirements in terms of submission applications for joining.
For natural gas market participants who are already accredited in the "Short-term natural gas market" section of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, it is enough to go to the link "Accreditation. For existing customers " after choosing the type of accreditation "Exchange trading", enter your email and password, select the type of document: "КРПГ - перехід до ЕТС" fill in the information regarding the bank accounts opened at Oschadbank JSC (the current account and escrow account, authorized person(s) to sign natural gas sales contracts in the electronic trading system and download the necessary documents:
- Application for joining the Regulation;
- Copy of a certificate or other document issued by the bank on opening a current account;
- Copy of a certificate or other document issued by the bank on opening an escrow account;
- Power of attorney for an authorized person to sign purchase contracts in the electronic trading system - sale of natural gas (if necessary);
- Certificate (certificates) of the public key for signing contracts for the purchase and sale of natural gas in the electronic trading system.
Attention! Participants of exchange trades assume all risks related to possible problems when using a qualified/improved electronic signature, namely: the occurrence of errors, failures and interruptions in communication with the servers of qualified providers of electronic trust services, etc.
To reduce such risks, we recommend that stock exchange participants have at least 2 (two) active qualified/improved electronic signatures from recommended KNEDP.
