During the first 9 months of 2024, the exchange held 5,885 trading sessions in the form of a one-way auction, and daily trading sessions in the form of a two-way auction were held according to the schedule.
As a result, 40 mln. MWh of electricity, 1.5 million tons of oil and gas condensate, 196 thousand tons of liquefied gas and oil products, 1.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas, and 331 thousand tons of coal. In the Untreated timber and lumber direction, the total sales volume amounted to 3.97 million cubic meters.
The total value of exchange-traded commodities sold amounted to UAH 276 billion, up 19% year-on-year. In all key directions, we are seeing an increase in trading volumes in terms of value. At the same time, the decline in sales of coal products in 2024 is compare to the exchange’s strategic goal of reducing trading volumes in this area in the future.
We are entering the last quarter of 2024 with dynamic growth in key parameters. For example, the number of trading sessions has doubled compared to the same period last year, and the number of accredited participants has increased by 6%, amounting to 6363 companies as of the end of September 2024.
