Over the past week, 96% of the exposed volume of untreated timber was sold at auctions. The initiators were forestry from 18 regions of Ukraine, namely from Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Odesa, Sumy and other regions.

A total of 287.26 thousand cubic meters were sold of a total cost of UAH 765,120,000 (VAT included). The state received additional income for UAH 175,840,000. (VAT included) more than the initial price of untreated timber put up for sale.

The greatest demand was for common pine, hardwood and coniferous, where the share of their sales in the total structure was 60%, 12% and 5%, respectively. There was also the sale of such species as black alder, silver birch, common oak and others. The maximum increase in the starting price was recorded at the level of 530%. The number of participants who purchased untreated timber at the auctions of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange was over 550.

The largest volume of sales took place in Chernihiv, Volyn, Cherkasy, Ternopil, Zhytomyr and other regions. The graph below shows the top 10 regions for the sale of untreated timber.
