According to the calls up of the Prime Minister of Ukraine on the need to resume economic activity, the timber market began to function during the period of martial law.

In order to ensure transparent and efficient implementation of the state forestry harvesting resource, the Ukrainian Energy Exchange has resumed electronic trading.

"In this difficult period, the task of enterprises, regardless of the form of ownership, is to restore the economic viability of the state, support the population and business. That is why, in accordance with the task of the country’s leadership, forestry enterprises have resumed the sale and shipment of forest products,"- said Yurii Bolokhovets, head of the SAFRU.

It should be noted that improved conditions have been introduced for participants in exchange trading: the absence of guarantee and registration payments, as well as a decrease in the cost of commission.

"Our task is to ensure the effectiveness of sales at auction, filling the budget and providing enterprises with the resource they need for more or less stable operation, maintaining jobs and paying taxes to the budgets,"- said Kostiantyn Shevchuk, Deputy CEO of UEEX LLC.

We remind you that the trading schedule can be found on the exchange website and on the relevant channels.
