During the last month, the Ukrainian Energy Exchange held 32 trading sessions in BETS, 55 auctions for the purchase and sale of electricity in BETS in the "Electric Power" version, as well as 4 trading sessions every day were held by the exchange on the short-term natural gas market.

According to the results of April, 4663 thousand MWh of were electricity were sold, 12.4 thousand tons of refined products, 128 thousand cubic meters of natural gas. There was high competition in the auctions for electricity and liquefied gas.

At the end of April, there were more than 1,100 companies on the energy markets (excluding electricity), and more than 400 in the electricity market. Despite the decrease in trading activity during the period of martial law, many new companies are willing to participate in trading at the UEEX.

“We continue to provide members with convenient trading functionality and are constantly improving it. At present, bidding is carried out through the UEEX, which is important for ensuring the functioning of the country in wartime with energy resources. By attracting businesses from all over the country to bidding, we continue to maintain market-based, competitive mechanisms for pricing energy resources.” - noted the CEO of UEEX O. Kovalenko.
