On June 15 and 16, 2017 at the platform of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX) were hold another successful trade for the sale of natural gas.
Selleres were gas company JV "Poltava petroleum company" (PPC) and "Esko Pivnich".

At the trading were totally put up 140 lots, 100 thousand cubic meters each, in a total of 14 million cubic meters of natural gas. By results of trading were sold 10.9 million cubic meters of natural gas.

"Multidirectional movement of quotations on the European hubs provokes volatility in the domestic market, which allows us to sell gas on a par with the import parity," - commented on the results of bidding, CEO of CE "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" Oleksandr Kovalenko.

JV "Poltava petroleum company" enters the structure of the company JKX Oil&Gas. PPC has four licenses to develop oil and gas fields in the Novo-Mykolaievsk group and Ielyzavetivske area in Poltava region, as well as two exploration licenses Zapravske and Chervonoyarske-Eastern fields with a total area of 171,2 sq. km.

The company "Esko Pivnich" enters Burisma Holdings. The holding company also owns Ukrainian mining companies, "Pari", "First Ukrainian petroleum company" and "Aldea". In Burisma’s portfolio are also permits to develop fields in the Dnieper-Donets, Carpathian and Azov-Kuban basins. Overall Burisma owns and develops 20 licenses for hydrocarbon production in Ukraine, 99% of production accounts for natural gas.
The total volume of natural gas production in 2016 amounted to more than 1 billion cubic meters.
